2 Crankcase ventilation hose
R39/1 Vent line heater element
3 Charge air hose downstream of air filter
| Remove/install | ||
1 | Turn transmitter key in EIS control unit to position "0" and remove | To prevent unintentional starting of the engine. | |
2 | Disconnect electrical connector (1) | ||
3 | Detach crankcase ventilation system (2) hose at vent line heater element (R39/1) | ||
4 | Lever vent line heater element (R39/1) with a suitable tool out of the charge air hose after the air filter (3) and take off | Installation: The arrow attached to the vent line heater element (R39/1) must point towards charge air hose downstream of air filter (3). | |
5 | Install in the reverse order |
