1 | Remove air filter housing | ||
2 | Remove trim panel of cylinder head cover | Installation: Only install cylinder head cover trim panel after checking for leaks. | |
3 | Detach hose (1) | ||
4 | Remove oil separator (2) bolts at cylinder head cover (3) | The oil separator (2) is held in place by six bolts. | |

5 | Remove oil separator (2) | Installation: Clean sealing surfaces, inspect seal, replace if necessary. | |
6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. | |
7 | Conduct engine test run and check engine for leaks in the area of the oil separator (2) |
