Remove engine with axle/engine subframe

Disconnect both front input shafts at the flange, fit together and place to one side

Suction off hydraulic fluid from steering pump reservoir. Detach high pressure line (4) and return line (5) at power steering pump (3)

 Catch escaping hydraulic fluid.

Remove radiator

Open cable tie (arrow) for refrigerant lines

if AC fitted (code H06)

Detach fluid reservoir (12) from axle/engine subframe, place to one side with connected refrigerant lines

if AC fitted (code H06)

Suspend engine hoist (20) in the lifting eyes (arrows) of the engine

Load regulator

Raise engine with engine hoist (20) until the engine mount and transmission bearing are relieved

 Do not raise axle/engine subframe.

Unscrew screw/bolt (10) of front engine support (11) at engine mount (9)

 Replace self-locking nut (8).



Unscrew screw/bolt (14) of rear engine support (13) at engine mount (16)

 Replace self-locking nut (15), pay attention to the heat shield (17)



Unscrew screw/bolt (18) of transmission bearing (19) to axle/engine subframe

 Replace self-locking nut.



Lift out engine upward from the axle/engine subframe and set it down securely

Install in the reverse order
