Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Remove exhaust gas recirculation cooler.

Remove coolant pump.

Remove line (2) from bracket (3).

Remove the bracket (3).

 For this purpose, remove bolts (4).

Remove the cable duct.

Push back clamp (5) on hose (6).

Remove screw (9).

Remove line (10).

 For this purpose, remove hoses (6, 8).

 Installation: Check line (10) and hoses (6, 8) for damage.

In the case of damage,



Replace line (10) and/or hoses (6, 8).

Remove refrigerant compressor from major assembly carrier (1).

Remove valve (13) from bracket (14).

Remove electrical connector (12) from bracket (14).

Separate electrical connector (12).

Remove major assembly carrier (1).

 For this purpose, remove screws (15).

 Bolt, major assembly carrier to crankcase
