Rotate crankshaft with the cranking device

 The piston on cylinder to be checked must be at bottom dead center.

Connect endoscope (2) and lead
test probe (1) through the protective sleeve bore in the cylinder

 See equipment manufacturer's operating instructions.

Inspect cylinder wall and piston crown

 Cylinder walls must not have any scorch streaks and rubbing streaks. Individual slight scores are not critical. Inspect condition of piston crown, if necessary: 
