No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Remove fan

 Set down fan in fan cowl, do not remove fan upwards.

Remove fuel injectors

No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area of mechanical components when moving components.

Set piston of cylinder to be checked to bottom dead center

Do not crank engine in opposite direction of engine rotation.
Damage and measurement errors can occur otherwise.



Check cylinder barrel for scoring

 If there is 'scoring' (wear to the cylinder), the cylinder barrel has become rough and honing marks are no longer visible.

If the condition of the cylinder barrel is not clearly recognizable or requires more detailed damage assessment



Remove cylinder head.

Install

Remove light projector (1) and flexible endoscope (2)


