Remove/install

Remove spark plug of the cylinder to be checked.

Remove right charge air line.

Remove the charge air cooler and place it at the front with the lines connected.

Turn engine at center bolt of the crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation until the piston of the cylinder to be checked is at bottom dead center (BDC).

Connect endoscope (2) to light source (1) and insert through the spark plug bore in the cylinder to be checked.

Check cylinder barrels.

Remove cylinder head.
