Remove injection pipe

Remove injection holder combination

Remove sealing sleeve eventually left on the head.

Connect flexible endoscope (1) to the cylinder lighting device (2) and turn on

For connection instructions check manufacturer manual.

Use flexible endoscope (1) with diameter 8.5 mm and cylinder lighting device (2).

Introduce flexible endoscope (1) through cylinder thermal isolation sleeve (3) and test

The environment/engine temperature must be 80 °C.

The flexible endoscope (1) must not lean or hit the bottom of the piston, otherwise it will be damaged.

Place piston on the bottom of the tested cylinder

Verify the piston position through the flexible endoscope (1) and turn camshaft with a turning device.

Inspect the cylinder wall, the bottom of the piston and the compression chamber and valves

in case of damage or doubt:

Remove head.

Verify eventual other cylinder the same way

By placing the camshaft in 3 positions it is possible to check all cylinders: cylinders 1 and 6, cylinders 2 and 5, and cylinders 3 and 4.
