Remove/install

Blow off compressed-air system's supply air

Remove spare wheel

Only necessary when removing compressed air reservoir (1) in front of front axle.

See owner's manual.

2.2

Remove floor covering from passenger compartment

Only when removing compressed-air tank (2) above the front axle.

2.3

Open service-access hatch on the left side of the vehicle

Only when removing compressed-air tank (3) behind the front axle.

 Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Raise vehicle.

Only when removing compressed-air tank (4) in front of the front axle.

Detach compressed air lines connector from compressed air reservoir (1, 2, 3, 4)

 Only on compressed air reservoir (1, 2, 3, 4) to be removed.

For"VOSS 230" compressed-air
connector.

or "Schäfer SDF" (NG 6) compressed-air connector.

Detach bracket of compressed air reservoir (1, 2, 3, 4)

 Only on compressed air reservoir (1, 2, 3, 4) to be removed.

Remove compressed air reservoir (1, 2, 3, 4)

 Only compressed air reservoir (1, 2, 3, 4) to be removed.

Install in the reverse order
