

If a customer refuses replacement of a damaged seat belt or seat belt buckle (2), an appropriate remark must be made on the repair order

Pull out belt strap (1) completely and check for damage and angular movements (arrow)

 In the event of separated fibers, chafe marks or other damage, replace seat belt subject to separate repair order. Eliminate angular movements (arrow) subject to separate repair order:



Remove/install seat belt (front seat)

Remove/install seat belts for third row of seats

Check locking function of inertia reel

 To do this pull out belt strap (1) in a jerky manner. In the event of complaints, replace seat belt subject to separate repair order:



Check seat belt buckle (2)

 Check seat belt buckle (2) for damage as well as the correct locking of the latch plate (3). In the event of complaints, replace seat belt buckle (2) subject to separate repair order:


