1 | Insert the key in the lock and check the operation of the door lock mechanism | The key must turn smoothly to the left (lock) and to the right (unlock). | |
2 | Open the door and force it vertically | There must be no perceptive play in the hinges. | |
3 | Check the door closing | It must close smoothly with little effort. If necessary, lubricate the hinges and the door lock mechanisms. | |
4 | Check the inside latch (1) for operation | Press the latch (1) the door will be locked, pulling it the door will open. | |
5 | Check the window crank (2) for actuation | Some vehicle versions are fitted with power windows | |
Open the window - Pressing the switch bottom part, the window will roll down to the desired opening. | |||
