Remove

Remove trailing axle wheels

Remove wheel hubs (4)

Remove protective plate (1) from the wheel hub (4), radial seal (2) and tapered roller bearing (3)

Clean

Remove the grease used on wheel hub (4) and tapered bearings (3, 5)

Do not use solvents when cleaning bearings and the wheel hub. For cleaning, use a clean and lint-free cloth.

Check

Check tapered bearings (3, 5) for wear or damage

If there is wear or damage in any of tapered roller bearings (3, 5), they should always be replaced in pairs.
If necessary, replace tapered bearings with separated invoice.

Install

Install tapered roller bearings (3) on the wheel hub (4)

Grease the tapered roller bearing (3) using multi-purpose grease.

Apply sealing compound on the outside of the radial seal (2) and install the wheel hub (4)

Installation: Use a new radial seal (2) and grease the sealing lip of the radial seal (2).

Install the protection plate (1) in the wheel hub (4)

Fill the wheel hub (4) with the amount of grease required
