The contact of the sliding piece with the ring gear is perfectly detected by the increase of the resistance felt when turning the regulating bolt. If, after the sliding piece contacts the gear the regulating bolt continues to move forward, this indicates the existence of a clearance in the bearings of the differential case, and consequently it is necessary to disassemble the set for regulation. | |||
