Remove

1

Activate parking brake and loose securing nuts from front wheels

Lift vehicle and support it on racks located under the front axle beam

 The safety stands must not be placed in the center area of the axle.

Remove the front wheels

Remove the wheel hubs (7)



Disassemble the wheel hubs (7)



Clean

Remove the used grease from the wheel hub (7) and from the taper roller bearings (2, 5)

 Do not use solvents to remove the grease and clean the bearings and the wheel hub. For cleaning, use a clean and lint-free cloth.



Check

Check the taper roller bearings (2, 5) for wear or damage

 If there is wear or damage on the bearing races, inner or outer, these will have to be always replaced in pairs.
If necessary, replace tapered bearings with separated invoice.



Install

Assemble the wheel hubs (7)



 Lubricate with grease the taper roller bearings and the seal lips.

 Fill the wheel hub with the specified quantity of grease.

 Install a new sealant.

Install the front wheels

Lower vehicle from rack and tighten wheels security nuts
