| Remove | ||
1 | Actuate the parking brake and release the fixing bolts a little | ||
2 | Lift the vehicle and support it on safety stands placed under the front axle beam | ||
3 | Remove the front wheels | ||
4 | Remove the wheel hubs (6) | ||
5 | Disassemble the wheel hubs (6) | ||
6 | Remove the grease from the wheel hub (6) and wash all components | Check all parts for wear or damage, specially the bearings and their seats. | |
If needed, replace conic roller bearings. | |||
| Install | ||
7 | Lubricate the seal (4) and the taper roller bearings | Install a new sealant. | |
8 | Fill the hub (6) and the cover (11) with the specified amount of grease | Wheel hub grease (per hub) | |
9 | Assemble the wheel hub (6) | ||
10 | Install the wheel hub (6) | ||
11 | Install the front wheels | ||
12 | Lower the vehicle from the safety stands and tighten the wheel fastening nuts |
