Remove cover on bumper (A)

Remove cover for ball neck mounting (B)

Remove ball neck from vehicle

Check diameter of coupling ball (arrows)

 The ball neck must no longer be used if it measures less than the minimum size.

Check function of ball neck

 Check automatic interlock for proper operation.

 If there are problems, the ball neck must no longer be used.

Dismantle, unlock and lock ball neck

To unlock, pull the release lever outwards.

 If ball neck and ball neck mounting are contaminated


