Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove

Remove automatic transmission oil pan with automatic transmission oil filters.



 The automatic transmission oil pan and the automatic transmission oil filters are a single component part, and they can only be replaced together.

Remove stop plug(1).

Turn torque converter until drain screw (2) appears.

Draining

Unscrew drain screw (2) and completely drain off transmission oil.


Collect the drained transmission oil in a suitable container in order to measure the oil filling quantity.
Damage can otherwise occur.


Dispose of old drain screw (2).
Otherwise, this may lead to leakage and consequential damage.



Clean

Clean drain opening on torque converter.



Install

Screw in new drain screw (2).


Replace drain screw (2).
Otherwise, this may lead to leakage and consequential damage.

Install stop plug (1).

Install new automatic transmission oil pan.


