Drain screw

 Danger !

Risk of injury. Skin or eye injuries may result when handling hot or glowing objects.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.

Conduct test drive to heat up gear oil, and park vehicle on a level surface

 Only drain transmission oil when transmission is at operating temperature.

Clean area around oil filler screw (1) and drain screw (2)

Remove oil filler screw (1) and drain screw (2), and drain gear oil

Clean magnet of drain screw (2)

Tighten drain plug (2)

 Oil thread slightly.

Pour in transmission oil up to bottom edge of oil filler opening.

 Gear oil

Screw in oil filler screw (1)

 Oil thread slightly.
