Open maintenance flaps at rear and at rear left

Inspect radiator (1) and charge air cooler (2) for external soiling

Fins and intermediate areas of fins must not be blocked with dirt.

If this is not the case

clean radiator and charge air cooler.

Cleaning

Clean radiator (1) and charge air cooler (2)

Clean radiator in the opposite direction of flow of the cooling air (arrows). Blow out slight soiling with compressed air or spray out with water. Remove severe soiling with hot water high pressure cleaner.

Always direct jet of hot water at right angles to the radiator in order to avoid damaging the fins.
