AP20.00-I-2010B | Engine cooling system - check fluid level, adjust to correct level. Inspect anticorrosion/antifreeze protection, adjust to correct concentration | 13.12.11 |
ENGINE 904.941 in MODEL 684.482
I20.30-0001-01
1 Cap
2 Filler neck
3 Drain screw
I20.20-0002-01
Modification notes
Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Danger! | Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
| Notes on coolant | All engines | |
1 | Unscrew cap (1). | ||
2 | Check anticorrosion agent and antifreeze concentration, correct if necessary | If there is too low a coolant level in the coolant supply reservoir:
Remove drain screw (3) on radiator, remove coolant, screw in drain screw (3) again.
| |||
With a too low anticorrosion agent/ antifreeze concentration:
Correct the anticorrosion agent and antifreeze subject to a separate repair order.
| |||
| |||
3 | Check coolant level, correct if necessary | To do this pour in coolant in the specified quantity up to the edge of the filler neck (2).
4 | Screw on cap (1) |
Radiator, coolant hoses
