Check radiator for leak tightness and undamaged condition.

If problems exist,

repair or replace radiator.

Check radiator and charge air cooler for external soiling.

See information provided by vehicle manufacturer or engine supplier.
The slats and spaces between the radiator and charge air cooler must not be clogged with dirt.

If heavy soiling is present,

clean radiator and charge air cooler from outside.

Check all lines and hoses of cooling and heating system for undamaged condition, chafe-free routing and correct attachment as well as for leaks at the connections.

If problems exist,

Replace lines or hoses; if necessary, install lines and hoses correctly and ensure that they are fitted securely.
