Inspect charge air cooler (1) for external soiling

The fins must not be clogged with dirt.

Clean if necessary: step 3.1,
(subject to separate repair order).

Cleaning

Clean charge air cooler (1) on the outside and inside

Blow out light soiling with compressed air or spray out with water. Spray out severe soiling with a steam cleaner.

To avoid damage, aim jet of water at right angles and with a sufficient clearance to the fins.
