 

Remove/install

Remove bolt (1)

 Bolts (1) are secured against falling out.

Remove air filter housing upper part (2) with air duct (3) and hot film MAF sensor (B2/16)

 To do so, disconnect electrical connection (4) and open clamp (5). Do not disconnect air duct (3) and hot film MAF sensor (B2/16) from air filter housing upper part (2).
Seal the opening using a rag.

Place air filter housing upper part (2) to one side

 Do not disconnect electrical connections from air filter housing upper part (2).

Remove air filter insert (6)

 Vacuum out lower section of air filter housing if required or wipe with a damp cloth.

 Installation: Ensure correct fit at the sealing surfaces.

Install in the reverse order

Confirm replacement of the air filter insert (6) in the maintenance booklet or in the DSB
