Turn key in ignition lock into position "1".

 The standard display (total distance) must appear in the multifunction display (4), if necessary press the system selection button (1) repeatedly.

First press and hold down R button (2) and then, within 1_second, also press and hold down +_button_(3) for approx._5_seconds.

 The voltage indicator is shown on the multifunction display (4).

Read out maintenance data

Press system selection button (1).

 The multifunction display (4) shows:
"ASSYST PLUS".

Press R button (2).

 The multifunction display (4) shows:
"Service data".

Press R button (2).

 The multifunction display (4) shows, e.g.:
"Service A".

Press system selection button (1).

 The multifunction display (4) shows:
"RLZ (remaining time) and RLS (remaining distance)".
Note down displayed values.

Reset service data

Turn key in ignition lock into position "2".

Press the system selection button (1) repeatedly until "Full Service" appears in the multifunction display (4) again.

Press R button (2).

 The current services appear on the multifunction display (4).

Press the system selection button (1) repeatedly until "Confirm service" appears in the multifunction display (4).

Press R button (2).

 The multifunction display (4) shows:
"Service carried out?“ or the oil selection.

 To achieve the maximum kilometer interval, engine oil for engine 622.9 that complies with the Specifications for Operating Fluids, Sheet 228.51 must be used and confirmed.

Select the specification of the engine oil used and confirm.

Engine 651.9

 To achieve the maximum kilometer interval, the engine oil that complies with the Specifications for Operating Fluids, Sheet 228.51, 229.51/.52 must be used and confirmed.

Select the specification of the engine oil used and confirm.

Engine 654.9

 To achieve the maximum kilometer interval, engine oil that complies with the Specifications for Operating Fluids, Sheet 229.51/52/71 must be used and confirmed.

Select the specification of the engine oil used and confirm.

Engine 274.9

 To achieve the maximum kilometer interval, engine oil that complies with the Specifications for Operating Fluids, Sheet 229.5 must be used and confirmed.

Press + button (3).

 This thereby confirms that the Full Service has been conducted. The multifunction display (4) shows:
"Return not possible".

Press + button (3) again.

 The multifunction display (4) shows:
"Full Service completed".

If the service is not performed or only partly performed after resetting the maintenance computer, then the maintenance computer has to be reset to the default value again


