Route electrical wiring harness (2) along vehicle wiring harness as far as left seat base and fasten with cable ties (4).

 Do not kink electrical wiring harness (2) and check it is routed without any chafing.
This prevents damage.

Remove fuse block 3 (9 fuses) (F55/3).

Pass electrical line 15 "PK/BK" through seat base and route to fuse block 3 (9 fuses) (F55/3).

 Do not kink the electrical line 15 "PK/BK" and ensure that it is routed without chafing.
This prevents damage.

Check whether slot 3 in fuse block 3 (9 fuses) (F55/3) is occupied.

5.1

If slot 3 in fuse block 3 (9 fuses) (F55/3) is not occupied.
Install tml. 15 plug contact (6a) in slot 3.

5.2

If slot 3 in fuse block 3 (9 fuses) (F55/3) is occupied.
Remove tml. 15 plug contact (6a) from slot 3.

  Use wiring harness repair set.

Cut off tml. 15 plug contact (6a) and plug contact of electrical line 15 "PK/BK", and crimp these electrical lines together.

If slot 3 in fuse block 3 (9 fuses) (F55/3) was occupied.

  Use wiring harness repair set.

Reinstall crimped tml. 15 plug contact (6a) in slot 3.

If slot 3 in fuse block 3 (9 fuses) (F55/3) was occupied.

Install fuse block 3 (9 fuses) (F55/3).

Install 5 A fuse in slot 3.

Route supply and video lines (2d) and electrical line (2c) from seat base further behind right footwell trim as far as center console.

Model 906.6/7 with code EJ6 (COMAND APS) or code EJ7 (COMAND APS with DVD changer) or code EN4 (COMAND with TMC interface) or code EN7 (Audio 15)
Pass supply and video lines (2d) through bottom of center console and route as far as radio recess.

Model 906.6/7 except code EJ6 (COMAND APS) except code EJ7(COMAND APS with DVD changer) except code EN4(COMAND with TMC interface) except code EN7(Audio 15)
Pass supply and video lines (2d) through bottom of center console and route as far as center console stowage compartment.

Route electrical line (2c) from radio recess further to instrument cluster.

Install plug contact of electrical line (2c) in chamber 9 of multiplug of instrument cluster.

Connect reversing light line (2f) to reversing light end sleeve (Z38).

15

Fasten tml. 31 ground lines (8) to left D-pillar ground point (W29/8) and to driver seat base ground point 1 (W71/1).
