AD91.29-P-2000A | Electric seat adjustment (ESA) with memory diagnosis previous knowledge | 14.3.97 |
MODEL 210.081 /281,
210 / (except 210.081 /281) as of 1.3.97 with CODE (275a) Memory package (driver's seat, steering column, mirror)
MODEL 208 with CODE (275b) Memory package (driver's seat, mirror)
Danger! | Risk of injury due to getting jammed or crushed, in extreme cases due to limbs being severed by coming into contact with the mechanical systems | Keep parts of the body or limbs away from the range of travel of mechanical systems when parts are moving.
Connection and use of test equipment
Connect Hand-Held Tester (HHT) and read out fault memory
| Function sequence The voltage-coded signals from the power seat switch (memory) (S91/1/S91/2) are read into the relevant door control modules (N69/1, N69/2)). The door control modules (N69/1, N69/2) transmit a CAN message to the respective ESA control module (N32/1, N32/2) which actuates the seat adjustment motors. | ||
| The actual values and actuations of a system can be filed in several control modules, therefore the actual values and actuations are to be called up in all control modules relevant to the system. All the actual values in the respective control module appear when the actual values are called up. | ||
| Abbreviations Electric seat adjustment, left Electric seat adjustment, right Electronic ignition/starter switch control module (N73) PSE control module (combined) (A37) Front driver-side door control module (N69/1) Front passenger-side door control module (N69/2) | ||
| The driver-side/front passenger-side ESA (with memory) control modules (N32/1, N32/2) and the driver-side/front passenger-side door control modules (N69/1 and N69/2) can be coded any number of times. | ||
