 Operate ATA status/towing protection switch (S85/3)

 Lock vehicle

 Raise vehicle at jack sockets with jack until wheel is clear of the ground

 Reach into the infra-red sensor monitoring zone

 Ignition: OFF

 Open the soft top or a side window

 Operate ATA interior / towing / status indicator switch (S85/2) in the interior motion sensor direction

 Lock the vehicle using the transmitter key

 Wait for approx. 15 seconds

 Reach into the interior motion sensor monitoring zone

Status indicator flickers for approx. 2 sec.
