An interruption in the voltage supply to the heating element is not displayed by the indicator lamp in the button, this continues to light up after being switched on. The function of the heating element must therefore be checked separately.

Switch on rear window defroster

Indicator lamp in the button must come on

Heating element in left and right rear window must heat up
