Driving switch ON

Start engine

Internal control module test program is started.

Pressure is built up via hydraulic pump.

Malfunction indicator lamp (H23) goes out.

The system is activated if the values match.

Engage reverse gear,

Turn steering to left and right

Additional steered axle must follow the steering movements.

Front-axle version must follow in same direction, rear axle version in opposite direction.

If steering direction wrong

Check set of parameters

Lock front axle and additional steered axle, press axle-centering pushbutton (S123) and hold (centering)

The axle centered indicator lamp (H23) starts to flash and remains on constantly when the additional steered axle is centered.

Press axle-centering pushbutton (S123) and hold (enabling)

The axle centered indicator lamp (H23) starts to flash and goes out when the additional steered axle is in the desired position.

Carry out test drive and check driving behavior

If the steering movement is "juddery or springing" there is air in the system

Bleed the hydraulics system for the additional steered axle (ZL)
