AD07.52-S-7002A | Fuel injection valves (PEC) testing hydraulics | 23.4.97 |
ENGINE 111.948 /978 in MODEL 638
Danger! | Risk of explosion due to ignition, risk of poisoning due to inhaling and swallowing fuel and risk of injury due to fuel coming into contact with skin and eyes. | Fire, sparks, naked flame and smoking forbidden. Only pour fuels into suitable, appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.
Connection and use of test equipment
Fuel injection and ignition system (PEC) diagnosis, previous knowledge
a | Connect socket box to PEC control module
b | Disconnect 2-pin couplings on fuel injection valves.
c | Remove fuel distributor pipe together with fuel injection valves, not disconnecting the fuel supply and return hose.
d | Connect shop-made electric cable to fuel injection valves in sequence.
e | Hold fuel injection valves in measuring beaker in sequence.
Testing | |||
1 | Fuel injection valves, leaktightness, testing hydraulics, fuel injection valves, PEC
2 | Fuel injection valves, spray pattern, testing hydraulics, fuel injection valves, PEC |
