M3/3 Fuel pump with fuel level sensor
Location
The fuel pump with fuel level sensor is located in the fuel tank.
Task
To supply the fuel injection system under all operating conditions with adequate quantities of fuel at the required pressure.
To establish the fuel level in fuel tank via the integral fuel level sensor and to actuate the fuel gauge.
Function
The fuel pump is actuated by the motor electronics control unit (N3/10) via relay 1 fuel pump (K40/1kK) and relay 2 fuel pump (K40/1kC).
