Risk of frostbite to body parts caused by escaping gas and by touching components near the valves when emptying gas cylinders. Risk of poisoning or suffocation caused by inhaling gas.

Remove any sources of ignition.
Protective clothing, safety gloves and safety glasses must always be worn.
Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated.
When working on vehicles at ambient temperatures over 60 °C, all gas cylinders must be removed.

Remove/install

Close gas shut-off cock (5)

See owner's manual.

Open sliding door (6)

Open hinged door (7)

Remove floor (8) from rotating cabinet

Release quick-release couplings (10) and remove cover (11)

Close shut-off valve (4) on gas cylinder

See owner's manual.

Unscrew union nut (3)

Installation:
Do not tighten union nut (3) with tool.
Otherwise the union nut (3) or thread on the gas cylinder can be damaged.

Observe left-hand thread on union nut (3).

Installation: Check seal for union nut (3) for damage.

If seal for union nut (3) is damaged

Replace seal for union nut (3)

Lay gas pressure regular (2) down to side

Installation: Check seal on gas pressure regulator (2) for damage.

If seal on gas pressure regulator (2) is damaged

Replace seal on gas pressure regulator (2)

Loosen clamping wedge (1) and lay down to side

Do not remove check strap on clamping wedge (1).

Remove gas bottle


When replacing gas cylinder, observe operating pressure of gas system.
Otherwise the gas system can be damaged or the function can be inhibited.

The gas system is designed for an operating pressure of 30 mbar.
