Remove/install

Unclip stowage compartment (2) from seat base, pivot upward toward outside and remove

Model 447.8, 448.8

 Installation: Ensure that pins (arrows A) and brackets (arrows B) on stowage compartment (2) are seated correctly in seat base.

Remove outer cover from seat base

Unclip door sill (1) in area of guides (arrows C) in direction of arrow

Unclip door sill (1) in area of retaining clips (arrows D)

Carefully pivot door sill (1) toward front and remove

 Installation: Ensure that door sill (1) is seated correctly.

Carefully pivot door sill (1) toward front until electrical connectors (3) is accessible

 Installation: Ensure that wiring harness and electrical connector (3) are routed correctly.
Ensure that door sill (1) is seated correctly.

Disconnect electrical connector (3) and remove door sill (1)

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check whether illumination of door sill (1) functions properly
