Service Information: modified maintenance procedures

Reduction of the number of inspections with no labor charges in trucks

Valid only for trucks commercialized in Brazil

This service information communicates and establishes new rules for the inspections with no labor charges. The rules start for trucks invoiced as from 01 August 2012 (date of the factory's Fiscal Document) as follows:

 applies only to trucks;

 excluding the payment of the delivery inspection (between 1 and 3000 km) for all truck models;

 excluding the payment of the last inspection for all truck models.

ATTENTION:The inspections with no labor charges for the Sprinter models and bus chassis remain unchanged.

Inspections with no labor charges

For trucks invoiced up to July 31, 2012 valid is what has been published in the Service Information SI00.20-B-0020 of May 2012.

For trucks invoiced as from August 01, 2012 the inspections with no labor charges are:

 1st Oil change service - between 1000 and 5000 km (if necessary, according to the vehicle's maintenance manual).

 1st Maintenance (according to the vehicle's manual).

 2nd Maintenance (according to the vehicle's manual).
