Install tester.

"Battery" LED (1) comes on.
If not:

- Check voltage on tester plug B,
terminal 4.

- Check, replace fuse F1.

- Check continuity of cable.

Switch on heater unit at the timer or at switch.

"Control thermostat" LED (2) comes on.

If not:

- Check, replace fuse F2.

- Check, replace diodes V1/V2.

- Check continuity of cables.

- Check, replace timer A1 or continuous operation switch S1.

Press "solenoid valve" button (7).

Clattering noise of solenoid valve in heater unit is audible.
If not:

- Press reset button on thermal cut-out B2.

- Check, replace thermal fuse F5.

- Check continuity of cable.

- Check, replace solenoid valve Y2.

Press "spark generator" button (6).

Spark must flash over audibly in heater unit.

If not:

Open burner top:

- Set electrode gap with test gauge.

- Check, replace spark generator A3.

Switch on "circulation pump" switch (4).

Circulation pump operates
If not:

Check, replace motor and cables.

Switch on "motor" switch (5).

Motor in heater unit operates.

If not:

Check, replace motor and cables.

Combustion starts
"Flame" LED (3) comes on after 1-2 seconds.

If not:

Note

After combustion has started, release "spark generator" button (6).

Test flame monitor B1 with ohmmeter:
Light resistor approx.

300 W
Dark resistor > 100 kW

After approx. 15 seconds release "solenoid valve" button (7).

Combustion ceases immediately.

If not:

Check, replace solenoid valve Y2.

Open burner top:

- Switch on "engine" switch (5).

- Press "solenoid valve" button (7).

Fuel sprays evenly out of nozzle.

If not:

- Check quantity in tank, filter and fuel lines.

- Check, replace fuel pump.

- Check, replace atomizer nozzle.
