Note
Perform test when the coolant has cooled down.
1 Attach exhaust gas extractor to exhaust pipe.
2 In the case of the DBW 2010 heater, switch on ignition.
3 Position rotary button (1) for vehicle heating on hot.
4 Position rotary button (2) for heater blower on position 2.
Example
5 Place thermometer in the hot air outlet opening (arrow).
6 Switch on auxiliary heater.
7 The air outlet temperature must be 45°C after switching on for approx. 12 minutes.
8 After completing the test, switch off auxiliary heater.
9 If heat output is inadequate, refer to programmed repairs (83-0009).
