Arrangement
6 SCR chassis control module (17A01)
The fastening of the SCR control module (3) will depend on body model and maker.
Task
The SCR control module (6) reads the analog signals of the interconnected sensors, converts them into CAN (Controller Area Network) digital signals, and sends these to the engine control module (MR).
Additionally, the chassis control module (6) supplies feeding tension for the active sensors available to capture the signals of the interconnected components of the control module (MR).
The SCR chassis control module (6) reads the analog signals of the following sensors:
Combined sensor of air humidity and air temperature SCR (17B01)
Combined AdBlue level and temperature sensor (17B02)
Temperature sensorafter the SCR catalytic converter (17B03)
Temperature sensorbefore the SCR catalytic converter (17B03)
The analog signals are converted from the chassis control module (6) into CAN-Bus digital signals and are transmitted as cyclic status report to the engine control module (MR).
In the engine control module, the signals are processed and transmitted via the CAN-Bus to the chassis control module (6), which next actuates the following components:
SCR AdBlue pump (17M01)
Pressure limiting solenoid valve (33.01)
No data application is available in the chassis control module (6). Also no elimination or storage of error data is carried out. This task belongs to the engine control module (MR) that receives all necessary information vie the CAN-Bus.
After turning off the ignition, the chassis control module (6) continues running later on, provided the engine control module (MR) signals are received.
