Loosen the torsion bar
1 Loosen screw (1).
2 Tilt the cab further forward, adjusting the retention device until the tension lever (3) with the adjusting screw (5) separates from the guide plate (2).
3 Remove the screws (1).

4 Measure and register dimension (A) between cab and chassis.
Tighten the torsion bar
5 Return the cab with the retention device (16) to the position it held before loosening.
Check dimension (A) and adjust dimension (A) previously registered by rotating the retention device (16).
W60.80-1104-12
6 Install the tension lever (3) and the torsion bar (4) in this position. The adjusting screw (5) must touch the guide plate (2) without pressure and without clearance.
7 Tighten the screw (1).
8 Install the safety bar to prevent falls and check the preliminary tension.
When pulling the unlocking Bowden cable the cab, locked at the rear position, must be raised from the cab support up to the first notch of the safety bar to prevent falls. Normally, it should be possible to tilt the cab and lock it again with only one hand. Should too much effort be required, preliminary tension at the torsion bar must be adjusted.
9 Preliminary tension adjustment.
Loosen the screw (1) and the locknut on the adjustment screw (5) and turn the adjustment screw (5) as necessary. Tightening the adjustment screw (5) will reduce the effort required for tilting. Loosening the adjustment screw (5) will increase the effort required for tilting.
10 Tighten the locknut on the adjustment screw (5).
11 Tighten the screw (1) .
