5 Mechanical relief bolt
6 Self-locking nut
7 Lever hubcap
1 | Shim the vehicle's wheels and release the parking brake. | Pressurize the system. | |
2 | Release the parking brake. | ||
3 | Release the relief pressure from the power accumulator (5). | | |
Install: When concluding the assembling, tighten the relief bolt (5). | |||
4 | Actuate the parking brake. | ||
5 | Depressurize the pneumatic system. | ||
6 | Remove the combined cylinder (1) pneumatic piping from the parking brake (2) and the service brake (3). | Install: The compressed air piping must be connected without tension. | |
7 | Release the attachment nuts (6) from the combined cylinder (1) and remove it. | Install: Install new self-locking nuts (6). | |
8 | Clean the contact surface between the combined cylinder and the brake caliper. | ||
9 | Lubricate the lever hubcap with grease (7). | ||
10 | Install in reverse order. | ||
11 | Pressurize the pneumatic system. | Check for leakage and tightness. |
