| Removal | ||
1 | Remove the drag axle wheels | ||
2 | Remove the disk brake caliper. | ||
3 | Loosen the bolts (10) and remove the hub cap (9). | ||
4 | Loosen the bolt (6) and remove the fastening nut (7). | | |
5 | Remove the washer (5). | ||
6 | Pull out the wheel hub (3) | Puller. | |
7 | Remove the tapered rolled bearing (4) from the wheel hub (3) | ||
| Check: | ||
8 | Check the condition of the friction surface of the race ring at the axle's end | If there are damages or grooves in the friction surface of race ring, replace it. | |
| Installing | ||
9 | Install a new radial seal (1) | ||
10 | Put some grease on the radial seal friction surface (1) and of the race ring | ||
11 | Carefully assemble the wheel hub (3) on the axle's end | Make sure the seal is not damaged. | |

12 | Install the external tapered roller bearing (4) and the thrust washer (5) | ||
13 | Put the bearings fastening nut (7) and tighten it until the bearings turn with no play | When you tighten the nut, turn the hub continuously and give crosswise blows with a rubber hammer. | |

14 | Check and adjust the wheel hub bearings play | ||
Wheel hub axial play. | |||

15 | Tighten the lock bolt (6) up to the prescribed torque | | |
16 | Install the hub cap gasket (8), the hub cap (9) and the bolts (10) | Use a new joint. | |

17 | Install the disk brake caliper. | ||
18 | Install the wheels of the driven axle | Retighten wheel fastening nuts after having covered the first 50 to 100 km. | |
