Remove and install

Drain the oil from the rear shaft

Loose the transmission shaft from the flange or the coupling yoke at the longitudinal differential transmission shaft

Loose the transmission shaft only at the flange or the transmission shaft coupling yoke and safely support the transmission shaft lose edge to avoid accidents.

Install: Tighten the transmission shaft fastening bolts to the specified tightening torque.

Remove the electrical connector (4)

Vehicles equipped with longitudinal differential lock.

Loose the pneumatic piping connection (5)

Vehicles equipped with longitudinal differential lock.

Install: Use new sealing washers and apply the specified torque.

Place an appropriate lifting device under the front cover to safely remove the central differential

Remove the compensator set (1) cover fastening screws (3)

Install: Tighten the bolts to the specified tightening torque.

Install two M12 X 1.5 screws in the threaded holes of the front cover (1) removal and tighten the screws, alternately and equally, to remove the cover

Install: Clean the cover and gear cases contact surfaces and apply sealing product
