1 Fasten the dial gage holder (1) with the dial gage (2) and prolongation (3) on the bell hub.
2 Prop the dial gage feeler on the rear axle withapprox. 1 mm pre-load and set the measuring scale to zero.
3 Move the rear axle back and forth with the reduction piece (4)and the retaining device (5), and thus check the axial clearance.
Should the nominal value not be reached, adjust the axial clearance adding or removing the corresponding distance washers.
