Remove and install

Remove the brake drum

AR42.10-B-1010TD

Remove the front axle wheel hub

Remove the brake shoes

AR42.10-B-1020TE

Remove the brake cam shaft and the bearing trestle

AR42.15-B-1050TC

Remove the stub axle (4)

 Mark the stub axle (4) for the articulation housing

Pull the input shaft (2) from the support tube

 Installing: To avoid seal damage in the support tube insert the input shaft carefully in the support tube

Remove the seal (3) from the stub axle (4)

 Installing: Apply sealing compound on the outside face of the seals without outside rubberized area.

Drive the seal on the stub axle with the plate collar facing the needle bearing.

Apply grease on the sealing lip.



Remove the seal (1) on the support tube

 Installing: Apply sealing compound on the outside face of the seals without outside rubberized area.

Drive the seal on the stub axle with the plate collar facing the needle bearing.

Apply grease on the sealing lip.


