Remove and install

Protect the vehicle from involuntary displacement

Lift the vehicle and support the chassis

3

Lift the rear axle until the springs are free of stress

 Use a lift or a ditch jack.

Remove the dampers (11) from the rear axle

Remove the spring clip (4) and the top spring bracket (5)

At the time of installation: replace the self-locking nuts (10).

Loosen the nuts (2) and (8) from the spring support pads and remove the screws (1) and (7) with a suitable pin punch

Lowe the rear axle and remove the back spring with the bottom spring bracket (6) from the axle housing

Install in reverse order

Install: slightly grease the housing of the center pins on the bottom spring bracket (6). Lift the rear axle so that the center pins are inserted into the respective housing holes.
