1 | Remove the input shaft, countershaft and main shaft | ||
2 | Remove the lock balls from the bars (1) | Care for not loosing the balls | |
3 | Remove the main shaft's seal (2) | ||
4 | Remove the bolts fastening the countershaft's rear cover (3) | ||
5 | Remove the countershaft's rear cover (4) | ||
6 | Remove the main shaft's rear bearing cap (5) | ||
7 | Remove the countershaft's bearing cap (6) | ||
| Assemble | ||
8 | Install the countershaft's rear bearing cap | Mandrel | |
9 | Install the main shaft's rear bearing cap, utilizing a suitable device | ||
10 | Install the main shaft's oil seal, utilizing a suitable device | ||
11 | Install the lock balls of the bars (1) in their housings on the prolongation | Utilize a small amount of petroleum jelly to stick them on their seats. |
