Danger! | Safety measures for maintenance work on natural gas powered engines. | ||
Turn off the main switch or disconnect the negative battery cable. | |||
1 | Loosen fastening clamp and disconnect tubing (7) to the auxiliary wastegate valve. | ||
2 | Loosen fastening clamp and disconnect tubing (3) to the relief valve. | ||
3 | Loosen fastening clamp and disconnect breather valve connecting tubing (5). | ||
4 | Loosen fastening clamp and disconnect tubing (4) to the air compressor. | ||
5 | Loosen fastening clamp and disconnect tubing (6) to the air filter. | ||
6 | Loosen fastening clamp (1) and disconnect the tubing to the turbocharger. | Remove the plastic clamps and put the tubings aside. | |
7 | Remove screws (8) together with the fixing nuts. | | |
8 | Loosen screws (2) and withdraw air tube (9). | Close turbocharger input connection to prevent dirt penetration. | |
9 | Install in reverse order. | Check all hoses and clamps and replace as necessary. | |
After removing the plastic clamps, install new ones. | |||
10 | Start engine and verify leak tightness |
