1 Properly clean the inlet or exhaust valve seat (1).
2 Cover the entire face of the valve seat (2) with a thin layer of contact ink.
Use an inlet or exhaust valve matching the seat, in perfect condition (new or reworked).
3 Insert the valve (2) in the valve guide and, with alternating movements, hit the valve twice against the seat (1), applying moderate force.
4 Remove the valve (2) and make sure that the seat face (1) is uniformly covered by the contact ink.
Replace and/or rework the seat if you notice irregular contact.
5 Properly clean the seat and the valve.
