| Removal | ||
1 | Remove valve keepers, valve retainer, valve spring and valve spring spacer washer. | Do not remove the valve. | |
2 | Remove the seal (2) from valve stem (4) | Be careful and do not damage the valve stem and the valve guide. | |
| Installing | ||
3 | Lubricate the valve stem (4) with engine oil | ||
4 | Fit the guide sleeve (3) over the valve stem (4). | The guide bushing prevents the valve stem groove damaging the seal. | |

5 | With the help of mandrel (1) insert, under pressure, the new seal (2) in the valve guide (5) | Replace the seal, whenever it (or the valve) is removed. Confirm the perfect seating of the seal on the valve guide collar. | |

6 | Install valve spring spacer washer, valve spring, valve spring retainer and valve keepers. |
