1 Remove the hydraulic pump (3).
On engines where the hydraulic pump (3) is fastened to on the timing case cover (2) and is driven by the camshaft gear.
2 Remove anti-vibration pulley (1).

3 Remove the bolts (4) fastening the timing case cover (2).
At assembly, utilize sealing compound on the bolt threads.

4 Remove the thrust ring (5) (seal race).
At assembly apply a new thrust ring.
5 Remove the timing case cover (2).
At assembly apply a new sealing gasket (7) with the graphite side facing the timing case.
On engines with aluminum made cover, do not utilize gasket. Apply sealing compound between the cover and the case and center the cover with a drift, installing the indication arrow (6).

6 Remove sealer (8).
At assembly, the seal will have to be positioned below the cover edge, for this reason, it is indispensable to use the appropriate drift (A).
