The cylinder liner removal has to be always carried out with the appropriate device. The use of a hammer or inadequate device will damage the cylinder liner.
1 Unscrew the nut until the spindle end (1) and loosen the nuts of the studs (2).
2 Install the device on the block, inserting the spindle (1) and the removal plate (3) in the liner (4).
3 Fasten the studs (2) in the diametrically opposed threaded orifices to fasten the head, and tighten the stud's nuts (2).

Correctly position the removal plate (3) on bottom edge of cylinder liner (4).
4 Immobilize the spindle (1) and screw the nut removing the liner (4).
5 Remove the device and remove the liner (4) from the engine block.
